Another receipt

Here's another receipt. Miriam and I went to get our hairs cut yesterday at the local Supercuts (my budget for my own haircuts is apparently around $10/year). When we walked in, the greeter took our names down to get us in line for a cut. When we walked out, they gave me this receipt (shown in part):

I think that is the most creative misspelling of my name that I have ever seen, and I've seen some good ones ("Prejat" comes to mind). What's interesting is that she got "Miriam" spot-on - no problems there.

The thing is, she obviously heard you say Bridget, and just tried her best to spell it. But, has anyone ever seen Bridget spelled even close to that? People never understand Hepworth either unless I spell it out for them. I have gotten all of these: Heffner, Hepper, Heperth. It doesn't seem like it is that odd of a name to me, but maybe that's because it is mine. Palmer too - I have never heard of anyone with a last name spelled Pollmer, so how does someone even come up with that?

Brejit !! : )

So you are in exciting Tuscon now?

How much are you paying for Tuscon "service" transportation fees?

Very hip looking blog. I like it.

bridget, you need to post a picture of yourself prego! What is with you going into hiding. I am sure you look a heck of a lot better than me! I will be waiting to see that pic:)

Haha! I have seen some very interesting spellings for Lilianne as well. So funny - even when I actually spell it out for people, they don't get it right! You have to give her credit for creativity, right?

So, how are you settling in? I can't wait to hear all about it! We miss you already.

I know this wasn't the reason for your post, but I'm glad to know other people get a classy Supercuts haircut. Growing up, my mom always cut my hair so the idea of paying for a haircut is a little painful. The only problem is when friends want a recommendation for a stylist in town...I can't really suggest the Supercuts hairdo for people who want real style.
