Are you serious? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I don't know why, but that sorta made my day. :)

I'll remember that when I am crabby about shanty-town Salem.
Well, since you locked out the comments on the diamond post, I'll just write it here. I watched the Hollywood-ized version of this story in Blood Diamond. It was gruesome and shocking. And why won't you let us talk about it?You can't silence me!
Hey I'm wondering about the diamond post too! What happened there??
Well, after I posted about the book, I realized that I probably offended all my married female friends who, like me, have diamond rings. I read the book because I chose to, but who am I to force all the difficult, divisive, and painful issues the book raised on my unsuspecting readers? I left the post up but closed comments because I didn't want anyone to feel that they had to defend themselves.
Apparently this is the new place to leave diamond posts comments. I watched the "Blood Diamond" and yeah, wow, its pretty intense. I think its good you read the book, as I think its important (and a responsibility) for people to understand where our stuff (not just diamonds) come from. I have a little 1/3 c. in my engagement ring, but in my wedding ring it has a solitaire on it, but we actually just left the cubic zirconia in it. It looks nice when I spray it with a cleaner and use a toothbrush. No one has asked if its real. Ha ha. I think its really good that the diamond trade is finally being taken to account. There are synthetic diamonds available too. Can someone really tell the difference?
