Twilight movie categorization FAIL

This unsolicited recommendation was what greeted me on our Netflix page this morning:

Ummmm, I'm not sure "strong female lead" is one of Bella Swan's defining characteristics.

(At least not in the first couple of books.)

I have seen many grown women have vehement conversations regarding "the strength of Bella." Not having read the books, I just want to slap them both and be like, "You realize you're about to punch each other over a book about teenage vampires??!" But I don't.

Also, is that "New Moon" suggested on the sidebar as well? I'm concerned about what you're renting at Netflix, Bridget.

That IS New Moon and I don't know why Netflix is suggesting it...because we already rented it! :) I kinda liked it, remember?

Netflix occasionally has some really oddball suggestions sometimes, though. They (or maybe it was Blockbuster) once recommended BeerFest Unrated. Based on what, I have no idea.

Grrr! Why weren't you at book club?!

I saw New Moon this weekend... not by choice. We went to the dollar theater to see Sherlock Holmes, it was sold out, so our absolute LAST option was New Moon.
I have to say it was a waste of money and absolutely just as bad as the first one. HORRIBLE!!! And the acting... Ugh!!!!
But it was worth being away from my kids :) Does that tell you how desperate I need time off?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry. That has to be one of the best FAILS I've seen recently. Thank you for sharing it!

I'm in definite agreement about the categorization fail. But wanted to point out that Netflix isn't recommending New Moon in that screen shot. It is showing you that those movies recommended are "based on your interest in:" So that's why.
