Go West

At Lucifer Falls, where sometimes, it's fun to pretend you're in The Last of the Mohicans. NOT THAT I'VE EVER DONE THAT.
I really don't have any words to describe my feelings on leaving Ithaca, and I've probably yammered about it here on the blog too much anyway.

So.

Goodbye it is.

Gah. So sad. May you travel safely!

So the real question is this: Will your blog header evolve from brilliant foliage/green to a more desert/industrial theme?

And yes, I am very interested to follow your next adventures.

We are missing you by four days. Or five. Probably more like five. Bummer. Have I already told you that we almost choose to live in the Sonntag's apartment so we could be closer to you guys. Sad day that you won't be there. We are already having problems with Lucente. So I am worried about when we actually get there. They are trying to charge us for the full month of August even though we will be moving in on the 21st. Annoying.

I loved your post you linked to in a comment about you movie quoting language with Jeremy. It made me think about how much I have picked up from other people or shows. I wish I could trace back the things I say to know where they first originated and then where I first heard them.

I love reading your blog, so keep it up. Todd and I have always talked about vacationing in Dubai. Maybe now that we will know a couple people (you and Jeremy) there we will make that vacation happen.

Ithaca and your friends here will miss the Palmer Family. I loved talking books and Lost with you, among other things. I wish you could have held out another year so we could have left at the same time. Nothing but the best to you and your family.

I enjoyed visiting Ithaca this past weekend and experienced first hand what an exceptional living situation you have had there. Yes, sad to leave it behind. I have felt great and lingering sadness moving from places and people we really liked, but life goes on and great experiences continue in new places.
